Zaid al Zaid

Zaid Al Zaid currently serves as the Executive Office Director at the Ministry of Economy and Planning since October 2021 and as the General Director of the Protocols & Secretariat Department at the Saudi Space Commission since January 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing a team of 25-30 professionals and managing the Chairman's schedule and engagements. Previously, Zaid Al Zaid worked at the Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage from October 2001 to December 2018, progressing from Tourism Specialist and Project Manager to Senior Advisor, playing a key role in developing the first Saudi National Tourism Strategy in collaboration with Ernst & Young. Zaid Al Zaid's earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Front Office Manager at InterContinental Hotels Group from February 1998 to September 2001. Zaid Al Zaid holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from Northern Arizona University, earned between 1993 and 1997.
