Ali Alshehri

Ali Alshehri, Ph.D., currently serves as the Research & Innovation Senior Expert and Acting Director at stc, the leading telecommunications company in the Middle East and North Africa, where responsibilities include driving research, development, and innovation initiatives, as well as leading the Research Interest Group. Previous roles include Director of Research and Development at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology of Saudi Arabia, where Ali focused on enhancing PKI technology, and Cyber Security Consultant at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, providing security advisory services. Ali's earlier experience includes roles as a Security Architect Consultant and Lab Demonstrator in Computer Security, along with teaching Computer Science at the high school level. Ali holds a Ph.D. in Cyber Security from the University of Surrey, a Master's in Information Security from Royal Holloway, University of London, and a Bachelor's degree in Education with a focus on computer science from King AbdulAziz University.
