Nathan Grunewald, MD MBA FACS has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and organizations. Nathan is currently employed at Sauk Prairie Healthcare since 2016, where they hold multiple roles including Chief Innovation Officer, Urologic Surgeon, and Urology Medical Director. In 2018, they joined the American Urological Association, serving as the Vice President of the Young Urologist Committee (North Central Section) and as a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee. Nathan also contributed to the Workforce Workgroup Committee. Nathan Grunewald is actively involved in their local community as the President of Sauk Prairie Dollars for Scholars, a non-profit organization providing scholarships to high-achieving high school students. Prior to these roles, they gained experience as a Urologic Surgery Resident Physician at the Medical College of Wisconsin from 2011 to 2016. Additionally, they served as the Website Administrator for the Southern Wisconsin Officials Association and held various positions within the Badger Boys State Alumni Association, including President and Board of Directors member. Nathan Grunewald completed their Medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2011 and had earlier experience with the Foundation for Anesthesia Education and Research and the Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation.

Nathan Grunewald, MD MBA FACS has an extensive educational background in the field of medicine and business. Nathan began their education in 1995 at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Microbiology and Immunology, with a Business Certificate. Nathan completed their undergraduate studies in 2000.

In 2007, Nathan enrolled at the Medical College of Wisconsin to pursue a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree. Nathan successfully completed their medical studies in 2011. Following this, they entered a Residency program specializing in Urologic Surgery at the same institution, which they completed in 2016.

In 2020, Nathan joined the University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium to obtain a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree. Nathan is expected to complete this program in 2023.

In addition to their education, Nathan Grunewald has achieved several certifications. Nathan became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons in October 2020. Nathan is also a Board Certified Urologic Surgeon, certified by the American Board of Urology. Additionally, they hold a Wisconsin Medical License issued by the State of Wisconsin.
