Ben Nelson

Ben Nelson currently serves as the Vice President of Finance at Saul Centers, Inc., a position held since May 2022. Prior to this role, Ben was the Vice President & Corporate Controller at DiamondRock Hospitality from January 2019 to May 2022 and held the title of Assistant Corporate Controller at the same company from November 2010 to December 2018. DiamondRock Hospitality is known for its portfolio of premium hotels and resorts. Earlier in Ben's career, Ben worked at KPMG LLP from September 2004 to November 2010, where Ben held the position of Audit Manager in the San Francisco office, specializing in investment funds and banking institutions. Ben holds both a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Brigham Young University, earned between 1998 and 2004.
