Claudia Tapia

Claudia Tapia, Ed.M., is a seasoned professional in family and community engagement within the educational sector, currently serving as the Family & Community Engagement Specialist at Santa Ana Unified School District since November 2018. This district-level role encompasses management and oversight of family and community engagement operations, alongside supervising and supporting staff in this field. Claudia previously held multiple roles, including Family & Community Engagement Liaison at Our Small World Foster Family Agency and Director of Development/Grant Writer at Social Justice Sewing Academy, where responsibilities included organizational development and nationwide programming. Additional experience includes restorative justice coordination, research at Harvard's Early Learning Study, and teaching positions, all reflecting a deep commitment to community support and educational equity.
