Miren Taberna

Miren Taberna has worked in a variety of roles in the medical field. Miren began their career in 2009 as a Consultant Medical Oncologist, Head and Neck Cancer and a Beca Rio-Hortega SEOM at Institut Català d'Oncologia (ICO). Miren then served as a Consultant Medical Oncologist and Medical Oncologist at the same institution. In 2016, they moved to Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital & Solove Research Institute, where they served as a Doctoral Researcher. Most recently, they have been the Chief Scientific Officer at Savana since 2020.

Miren Taberna has an extensive educational background. Miren received their Doctorado in Medicina from the Universitat de Barcelona, their Medicina degree from the University of Navarra, a Master en Oncología Molecular from the Centro Nacional de Investigaviones Oncológicas, and Fundamentos Metodologicos de la investigacion en Oncologia from the Universitat de Barcelona. Additionally, they were awarded a PhD Fellowship in Medicina from The Ohio State University. Miren also has experience with the Universitat de Barcelona and CNIO.
