Bill Tessier

Bill Tessier is a seasoned animation professional with extensive experience in both academic and industry settings. Currently serving as a Professor of Animation at Savannah College of Art and Design since September 2016, Bill previously held key positions including Senior Animator and Animation Training Supervisor at Avalanche Software, where contributions included in-game cinematics for Disney Infinity. With a strong background in animation instruction at I-Animate.net and Otis College of Art and Design, Bill has taught various workshops and courses in animation techniques. Industry experience includes roles at prestigious studios such as Disney Feature Animation, DreamWorks Feature Animation, Sony Pictures Imageworks, and Rhythm and Hues Studios, where involvement spanned numerous acclaimed animated films. Bill holds an MFA in Animation from UCLA and a B.A. in Fine Arts from Yale University.
