Pamela K. Hickey

Pamela K. Hickey is an accomplished professional in scenic design and technical direction, currently serving as a Professor at Savannah College of Art and Design since January 2023. With extensive experience in the industry, Pamela has held key positions such as Scenic Charge at IATSE Local 479, where responsibilities include liaising between the art department and paint team. Previous roles include Lead Scenic at ID3 Group, Properties Master for The Atlanta Opera, and Technical Director at the Marcus Jewish Community Center. Pamela earned a Master of Fine Arts in Scenic Design from the University of Montana and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design/Technology from the University of Central Florida. Additional experience includes working as a Props Assistant at Walt Disney World and involvement in various aspects of global character programs and special events.
