Richard Kimmel

Richard Kimmel serves as the Director of Institutional Effectiveness at Savannah College of Art and Design since October 2014, where responsibilities include managing accreditation processes, institutional assessment, and compliance with educational regulations. Kimmel previously held the position of Regulatory Compliance Manager, ensuring adherence to various state, federal, and international education laws. Prior experience includes serving as Regulatory Coordinator at the University of Pittsburgh, where Kimmel focused on compliance in biomedical research, and roles at PNC and Federated Investors, Inc., emphasizing customer service and operational coordination. Kimmel holds an M.B.A. from Western Governors University, a Master’s Degree in Fraud and Forensics from Carlow University, and a BA in Legal Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
