Thea Scott-Fundling

Thea Scott-Fundling is an accomplished architect and educator with extensive experience in commercial and residential interior design. Currently serving as a Professor at Savannah College of Art and Design since January 2019, Scott-Fundling also holds the position of Principal at Design Matters PLLC and has been a Principal and Architect at Design Matters, PC, since 2000. Scott-Fundling's expertise includes project management and contract coordination, strategic planning, and construction documentation. Notable projects include the Library Space Utilization Study for Reinsch Library at Marymount University and design management for the National Museum of African American History and Culture. With a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Texas at Austin, Scott-Fundling's professional background spans over three decades, including previous roles at Marymount University, the American Institute of Architects, and various architectural firms.
