Matt Fitzgerald

Matt Fitzgerald currently serves as the Dean of Students and teaches Math and Computer Science at Savannah Country Day School, beginning in July 2023. Previously, Matt held positions as a Teacher of Math and Entrepreneurship and McCain-Ravenel Center Externship Coordinator at Episcopal High School from July 2011 to June 2023. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Varsity and Freshman Rowing Coach at The George Washington University from July 2010 to July 2011 and as the Director of Educational Technology at Salisbury School between July 1999 and July 2010, where duties encompassed teaching Math and Java and coaching various sports. Matt earned a Bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and a Master of Arts in Computing and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
