Jennifer Wohlwend

Jennifer Wohlwend currently serves as the Manager of Glass, Cement, and Ceramic Sciences and holds positions as Principal Engineer and Senior Engineer at Savannah River National Laboratory since November 2016. Prior experience includes a role as a Research Scientist at the Air Force Research Laboratory, where Jennifer utilized first-principles calculations to investigate electron-phonon interactions, and as a Research Assistant at the University of Florida, focusing on molecular dynamics simulations of strontium titanate deposition. Jennifer earned a Ph.D. and a Master’s Degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Florida and a B.S. in Ceramic and Materials Science and Engineering from Clemson University.
