Andy McClelland

Andy McClelland is a seasoned information technology leader with extensive experience in both military and civilian sectors. Currently serving as the Principal Information Technology Advisor at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions since December 2021, Andy previously held various key positions in the US Army, including Chief of Staff at the Cyber Center of Excellence and Fort Gordon, where oversight was provided for 750 personnel impacting operations for 32,000 individuals. Andy's 26-year tenure with the US Army includes significant roles such as Senior Director of Information Technology, where advice and counsel were given to senior leaders on cybersecurity and communications for European operations. Additional experience encompasses leadership as Senior Manager for DISA Europe, overseeing a large team and substantial budgets, and contributions to network integration and modernization initiatives. Andy holds a Master of Arts in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University, a Master's degree in Military Strategic Studies from The United States Army War College, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University.
