Paul Smith

Paul Smith has experience working as a Principal Computer Security Engineer at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions starting in April 2019. Prior to that, they worked at CB&I as an IMS Analyst 2 / Cyber Security specialist from November 2010 to March 2019.

Paul Smith attended the University of South Carolina Aiken from 2004 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Business Administration and Management. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained a SourceFire Certified Professional certification from Sourcefire, part of Cisco in October 2011. In November 2012, they obtained a GCFE certification from GIAC. Paul then achieved a GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA) certification in May 2015 and a GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA) certification in October 2016, both from GIAC. In January 2014, they earned an Associate of (ISC)² certification while working towards a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) accreditation from (ISC)². Furthermore, in December 2017, they obtained a GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON) from the Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC). Finally, in February 2018, they successfully achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)².
