Tracy Waller has extensive work experience in the field of process control and automation engineering, specifically in the nuclear industry. They began their career as a Process Control Engineer in 1992 at Savanah River Site and worked in that role until 2007. From 2007 to 2012, they served as a Manager for Tritium Process Control at Savanah River Nuclear Solutions. Subsequently, they took on the role of Lead Engineer for WSB Process Control at SRNS from 2012 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as Manager for Tritium Process Control, Facility Support at Savannah River Nuclear Solutions, and then transitioned to the position of Principal Technical Advisor in 2015. Tracy Waller returned to SRNS in 2018 as Manager for Tritium Process Control, Systems, and Cybersecurity before being promoted to the Deputy Area Manager for Defense Programs Process Control and Automation Engineering in 2020. Their most recent role is SRNS NNSA CIO, which they started in October 2021.
Tracy Waller obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of South Carolina. Tracy completed their undergraduate studies at the university from 1987 to 1992.
