Matt has over ten years of private equity and operating experience with growth companies. Matt joined Savano in 2015 and is based in Baltimore. Prior to joining Savano, Matt was Director of Corporate Development at Genesis HealthCare, a NYSE-traded health services company, focusing on acquisitions of skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers. Matt previously gained extensive operating experience at High Street Partners, a venture-backed, international software and business services company. HSP was successfully sold in 2014 to Nair & Co., a portfolio company of HgCapital. Matt began his career as an investment banking analyst at Signal Hill advising middle-market companies on M&A and financing transactions.
Matt earned a B.S. in Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
