Andrew Alter-Dresner

Andrew Alter-Dresner is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in embedded systems and robotics. Currently serving as a Senior Embedded Systems Engineer at Savant Systems since September 2021, Andrew previously held roles as a Robotics Engineer at Otherlab, where underwater submersible robotic technologies were developed, and as Hardware Development Lead at LO3 Energy. Notably, Andrew spent nearly nine years at Trossen Robotics as Principal Engineer, founding the Interbotix brand and specializing in the rapid prototyping and design of hardware, embedded Linux systems, motion control, machine vision, and autonomous navigation, with a particular focus on humanoid, hexapod, and quadruped robotics. Earlier experience includes network administration positions at Convergence Networks and Intel Corporation.
