Steve Vorster

Steve Vorster has a diverse range of work experience. Steve is currently working as the Economics & Business Subject Lead at Save My Exams since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked at the American International School of Bucharest as the Humanities Learning Leader (HOD) and Teacher of DP Economics & MYP Humanities from August 2019 to June 2022. Steve also served as an Author & Webinar Host at Kognity from February 2020 to February 2022. Steve's earlier experience includes working at UWC South East Asia as the Head of Economics, where they oversaw the learning of 700 Economic students and managed a team of ten teachers from August 2014 to July 2019. Steve also taught IGCSE and IB Economics and served as the Department Technology Mentor. Steve was a Teacher of TOK, IGCSE Business, and IB BM during the same tenure, where they also presented as a conference speaker. Prior to that, Steve worked at Plymouth College Independent School as the Assistant Head of Sixth Form and Teacher of Business Econs. In this role, they also acted as the Head of Department for financial qualifications and served as a sports coach.

Steve Vorster holds a Masters in Educational Leadership from the University of Bath, which they obtained from 2018 to 2021. Prior to this, they completed a Professional Certificate in Education at the University of Exeter from 2007 to 2008. Additionally, in 2005 to 2006, they pursued a PGCE specializing in Education, also at the University of Exeter.
