Courtney Nields has a background in graphic design and has held various roles in community engagement and fundraising at Save the Children organizations. Prior to their current position as Director of Community Engagement at Save the Children Action Network, Courtney has worked as an Associate Director, Manager, and Coordinator in similar roles within the organization. Additionally, Courtney has experience as a Senior Art Director at Porter Novelli and as an Art Director at Williams Whittle. Courtney began their career as a Graphic Designer at Govatos, Dunn & Borcz. Courtney Nields has also studied at Connecticut College and Parsons Paris – The New School.

Save the Children Action Network (SCAN) was created in 2014 as the political advocacy arm of Save the Children, to be the political voice for kids. We work across the United States to ensure that the issues critical to children’s lives and futures are given top priority by our elected leaders, building bipartisan support to make sure every child has a strong start in life.
