Project Lead Communities For Children at Save the Children Australia

Megan McGrath is an experienced professional in early childhood development and humanitarian programs, currently serving as Project Lead for Communities for Children at Save the Children Australia since November 2020. Concurrently, Megan holds the position of Technical Advisor for Early Childhood Development at World Vision, focusing on capacity building for health and education personnel to integrate nurturing care and play-based learning into programs for caregivers and children aged 0-3. Previous roles include Program Manager at World Vision Australia, where responsibilities included design and oversight of humanitarian programs, and Early Childhood Consultant at UNICEF, focusing on maternal mental health and early childhood development during the Sahel crisis. Earlier work also involved psychosocial support for children affected by conflict in Northern Uganda. Megan holds multiple degrees, including an Honors in Psychology from Monash University and a Masters in Disaster Management Psychology from Walden University.
