Daniel Fantu Haile

Daniel Fantu Haile is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in human resources and organizational development. Currently serving as the Head of Learning & Development, Engagement & Wellness at Save the Children International since August 2019, Daniel has previously held positions as a Learning and Development Specialist and HR Manager for the East hub. Prior to this role, Daniel worked at the International Rescue Committee from November 2011 to August 2019 as an HR/Admin Manager, overseeing HR staff, recruitment processes, payroll management, and performance evaluations. Daniel's prior experience includes serving as the Human Resource Department Head at Awash Basin Authority from February 2007 to October 2011, managing multiple HR sections and handling recruitment and disciplinary matters. Daniel holds two Bachelor's degrees in Business Administration, Management and Operations, and General Management from Bahir Dar University, completed between 2003 and 2006.
