Hani Abdirizak Sadiq

Hani Abdirizak Sadiq is a dedicated professional in the field of mental health and child protection, currently serving as a Child Protection Officer at Save the Children International since September 2021. Hani previously held the position of Psycho Social Officer at The Lutheran World Federation-Kenya Djibouti Programme from September 2019 to December 2023, focusing on providing support for children with special needs, persons living with disabilities, and survivors of sexual and gender-based violence. Prior experience includes working as a Psychosocial Counselor at The Center for Victims of Torture, offering counseling to survivors of torture and war trauma from January 2017 to September 2019, as well as serving as a Counseling Psychologist at Kenyatta National Hospital, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assist patients facing mental health challenges between September 2015 and January 2016. Hani holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Moi University, completed in 2016.
