Miyuki Sato is an experienced leader in program operations and international development, currently serving as the Senior Program Operations Lead for East and Southern Africa at Save the Children International since September 2022. Sato has held various roles within Save the Children, including Global Goal Team Lead for Child Poverty, Climate Change & Urban, and Interim Country Director, as well as Deputy Country Director for Program Implementation and Director of Strategic Portfolio, Partnerships & Awards Management from February 2015 to August 2021. Prior to joining Save the Children, Sato worked at Save the Children Japan and Save the Children USA, gaining expertise in international partnerships and award management. Sato's earlier professional experience includes positions at the United Nations, The Aspen Institute, and Christie's. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Comparative Politics - Conflict Studies from The London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History of Art and Architecture from Brown University.
