Petronella Ntambo Sebele

Petronella Ntambo Sebele is a seasoned expert in child rights and program management, currently serving as the Director of Programmes at Save the Children South Africa since February 2020. In this role, Petronella ensures the high quality and impactful nature of projects, positioning the organization as a thought leader in the children's sector. Previously, Petronella held the position of Head of Programme for the East and Southern Africa Regional ASRHR Programme at Rädda Barnen, where responsibilities included managing a Sida-funded program across eight countries. Additional experience includes serving as Child Rights Governance Thematic Advisor for Save the Children Sweden, overseeing program transitions and partnerships in various roles, including Interim Country Director and Deputy Country Director in Zambia. Petronella earned a Master of Public Health with a specialization in Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Zambia.
