Ivy Lahon is a highly experienced professional in the field of creative content and multimedia storytelling, currently serving as the Head of Creative Content and Stories at Save the Children UK since September 2013. In this role, Ivy oversees the commissioning and production of creative content for global campaigns, leading a team of staff and freelance creatives to produce inspiring narratives that drive social change. Previously, Ivy was the Head of Stories at Save the Children, focusing on multimedia production for fundraising and campaigns. Prior experience includes various roles at The Independent, including Picture Editor and Associate Picture Editor, where Ivy was responsible for picture editing on the daily news picture desk. Additional experience includes freelance picture editing for Amnesty International and earlier roles at Time Out and Oxfam. Ivy holds a Master of Arts in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism from the University of the Arts London and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Cardiff University.
