Suzanne Taunton

Suzanne Taunton is an experienced professional in the NGO sector, currently serving as the Head of Operations and Change at Save the Children UK since January 2020, where responsibilities include leading change management for global programmes and supporting Communications and People and Culture initiatives. Prior roles at Save the Children UK include Head of Health, where Suzanne led the Policy, Advocacy and Communications team on health-related events and publications, as well as Deputy Head of Health, focusing on strategic leadership for the Global Programmes Health Team. Earlier, as Consortium Deputy Project Director at Save the Children International, Suzanne oversaw a multi-million GBP project involving multiple consortium members. Additional experience includes leading proposal development teams and fundraising efforts for various organizations, including Kidasha and Women and Children First. Suzanne holds a Master’s degree in Global Health and Development from the Institute of Child Health, University College London, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of Nottingham.
