Korynne Wright

Korynne Wright is a community volunteer and civic leader focused on improving children's and young adults' lives through education.

She is the current Board Chair of the University of Washington Foundation where she led the board to the completion of the most comprehensive capital campaign in the university’s history at $6.25B. She also serves on the board of the Grousemont Foundation, and is an advocate for Islandwood, and the YWCA after serving on their board for seven years.

Korynne is also currently working on Save the Children’s Eastern Washington project to bring family home visits and early childhood education programs to the most rural underserved communities in the lower Yakima valley.

Korynne has been on the school board for each of her children’s schools, serving as fundraising chair and board chair, among other offices.

Korynne is a graduate of the University of Washington, with a B.A. in Communications, with an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism.
