Maureen McLellan Whiting

Maureen McLellan Whiting is a communications specialist with extensive experience in stewardship and communications, currently serving as Lead Associate at Save the Children US since March 2016. Prior to this role, Maureen worked as a Relationship Manager at Creative Concepts from January 2011 to March 2016 and held the position of Campaign Communications Director for Kim Fawcett during the 2014 Connecticut State Senate campaign, as well as in previous campaigns for Connecticut State Representative from 2006 to 2012. Additional experience includes serving as Campaign Communications Director for Mike Tetreau and Cristin McCarthy Vahey for the Fairfield Board of Selectmen in 2011, and freelancing as a copy editor for Monster from 2000 to 2006. Maureen earned a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Communications from Boston College.
