Jeffrey Hoelsken

Jeffrey Hoelsken currently serves as General Counsel for Save the Redwoods League, a nonprofit focused on the protection and restoration of California redwoods, since October 2022. Prior to this role, Jeffrey held the position of Senior Counsel at Paragon Legal and served as Director of Operations for Warrior Canine Connection, where strategic direction and legal oversight were provided to support veterans with disabilities. Additionally, Jeffrey was Executive Director of Sunrise Horse Rescue, and General Counsel for Solar Universe, Inc., playing a key role in management across diverse business units. Previous experiences include co-founding Foundation Windpower, LLC, and practicing as an attorney in various legal firms, focusing on nonprofit services, environmental law, and complex litigation. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco, and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
