Save the Sound
Suzanne Thompson has extensive experience in environmental advocacy and media. Currently, as the Save Oswegatchie Hills Outreach Coordinator at Save the Sound since November 2015, Suzanne is focused on building the Save Oswegatchie Hills Coalition to protect vital natural resources in East Lyme and the Niantic River tidal estuary. In addition, Suzanne hosts the CT Outdoors Radio Show, a weekly program on outdoor topics, broadcast across multiple commercial AM radio stations. Previously, Suzanne served on the board of Lymes' Youth Service Bureau from 2010 to 2016, contributed as a Local Dirt columnist for The Day from 2011 to 2015, and worked as a freelance columnist and reporter for various publications. Suzanne's background also includes a brief stint as a student in the UConn Master Gardener program in 2014.
