Allegra Hernandez

Allegra Hernandez has a diverse range of work experience. Allegra is currently a Political Science Ph.D. student at Rice University. Prior to that, they worked as a Strategic Communications Associate at Savhera in 2019. In 2018, they served as a Community Outreach Coordinator for the Luna County Democratic Party and also worked as an Art Teacher at Deming Public Schools. In 2017, they were a Cast Member at The Walt Disney Company and completed an internship at the U.S. Department of State as a Public Affairs Office Intern. At Texas Christian University, they held various research assistant positions from 2014 to 2017. Allegra also worked as a Research Assistant at Western New Mexico University in 2016. In 2016, they had the opportunity to work at the U.S. Department of State as an Administrative Clerk, where they received the U.S. Department of State Meritorious Honor Award and undertook various responsibilities such as coordinating security fingerprinting of visa applicants and drafting revocation memos. Prior to these roles, they were a Legal Secretary at DeLaney & Hernandez LLC from 2010 to 2013.

Allegra Hernandez earned a Bachelor's Degree from Texas Christian University, where they studied Art History and Political Science from 2013 to 2017.
