John Thomas

John Thomas has an extensive work experience in the field of laboratory management and operations. John currently holds the position of Laboratory Director at SaVida Health, where they have been working since January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Laboratory Manager at the same company from July 2020. Before joining SaVida Health, John was associated with Right Choice Health Group, LLC as a Laboratory Manager and Operations specialist from August 2017 to July 2020. John also has experience as a Sales Associate at GNC from August 2016 to August 2017. Their earlier work includes being a Graduate Assistant at Duquesne University from January 2010 to January 2016, where they were involved in proteomic studies and utilized mass spectrometry and liquid chromatography for method development and optimization. John also worked as an Intern at Molecular Dx from October 2014 to February 2015.

John Thomas earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Biochemistry from John Carroll University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. After completing their undergraduate studies, John attended Duquesne University from 2010 to 2016 and received a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. In addition to their formal education, John also obtained a certification as a Toxicological Chemist (TC) from the National Registry of Certified Chemists in May 2021.
