Chad Stewart has a diverse and extensive work experience, with a focus on commercial lending and leadership roles. Chad started their career at the Bank of NY Private Bank as a Vice President and later joined TD Bank as a Vice President in Middle Market Lending. Stewart then worked at HSBC as a Vice President Team Leader and Senior Relationship Manager, where they developed the CT Region for the Premier Corporate & Professional Services Division. Chad continued to advance their career at First Niagara Bank, where they held the position of First Vice President and Team Leader for Fairfield County Commercial Lending. After that, they joined Westport National Bank as a Senior Vice President and Commercial Team Leader, overseeing the bank's commercial lending business statewide. Currently, Stewart is the First Vice President at the Savings Bank of Danbury, leading a team of commercial lenders and building the bank's presence in lower Fairfield County. Throughout their career, they have also been involved in volunteer work and community organizations, such as the Fairfield Rotary Club, St. Pius X Catholic Church, Leadership Fairfield County, and the Fairfield Republican Town Committee.
Chad Stewart attended the Stonier Graduate School of Banking from 1994 to 1996, where they pursued a degree in Banking. Prior to that, from 1984 to 1988, they studied Economics at the University of Connecticut and earned their Bachelor of Arts degree.
