Matthew Hallet

Matthew Hallet, CISSP, has a diverse work experience in the field of information security. Matthew most recently served as the Vice President of Information Technology at the Savings Bank of Danbury, a role they assumed in March 2019. Prior to that, Matthew held the position of Information Security Officer, VP at Liberty Bank - CT from January 2016 to March 2019. In this role, they provided executive-level leadership for information security initiatives, modernized and optimized information systems, and collaborated with senior executives and the board of directors to ensure security controls. Matthew also has experience working at Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan, where they served as the Information Systems Security Officer, AVP. At this organization, they reduced the attack surface, managed access controls audits, and revitalized policies and procedures for cross-functional business units. Matthew began their career at Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan as an Information Security Analyst and was promoted to Assistant Vice President and Information Systems Security Officer for their outstanding leadership and performance. Matthew Hallet, CISSP, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Albertus Magnus College, which they obtained from 2009 to 2011. Matthew also holds an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice with a specialization in Computer Crime Deterrence from Naugatuck Valley Community College, which they completed from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Matthew has obtained several certifications. These include the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)², which they attained in November 2015. Matthew also holds a GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification from GIAC, earned in October 2012, and a Security+ certification from CompTIA, obtained in June 2010.
