Michael Ivy

Michael Ivy is a Senior Project Development Engineer at Savion. Michael previously worked as an Assistant Project Manager at WithersRavenel from September 2018 to June 2019. From June 2019 to February 2022, they worked as a Senior Professional at Kleinfelder. From April 2011 to September 2018, they worked as a Project Professional at Kleinfelder, where they were responsible for preparing and supervising assigned staff to complete complex plans, reports, specifications, analysis, and calculations for energy groups including Photovoltaic (PV) Systems and Surface Mining Facilities across the Southeast United States. Michael's projects mostly consisted of construction stormwater (erosion & sedimentation control), post-construction stormwater management, site grading, access road design, driveway entrance design, and stream crossing designs utilizing HydroCAD, SedCAD, and AutoCAD Civil 3D. Prior to that, they worked as an Engineering Intern - Structure Design Unit at NCDOT from May 2010 to April 2011. Michael also worked as a Study Abroad at North Carolina State University from May 2009 to June 2009. From August 2008 to August 2009, they worked as a CAD Contractor and Technical Engineer at USEPA.

Michael Ivy has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University. Michael also has an engineering degree from East Carolina University. Michael is certified by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers, the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulation, the Delaware Association of Professional Engineers, and the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation. Michael also has a North Carolina Professional Engineering License.

Michael Ivy reports to Gary Parker, VP, Engineering, Procurement & Construction. They work with Louise Leahy - Senior Resource Analyst, Reid Strain - Director, EPC, and Stan Shilling - Senior Engineering Director.
