Gowtham Potluri

Gowtham Potluri's work experience begins in 2016 as a Programmer Analyst for Cognizant, where they developed an email approval application using Spring Boot. Gowtham also created page layouts using JSP, Javascript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.

In 2018, Gowtham worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Georgia State University, where they developed lesson plans and course structures for Principles of Computer Science II. Gowtham conducted lab sessions and provided guidance on coding using Java and OOP concepts.

From 2019 to 2020, Gowtham worked as an IT-Web Intern at VanEck, where they worked on web projects using Scrum and Kanban methodologies. Gowtham upgraded and maintained the company website, utilized technologies like Javascript, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and monitored website uptime and performance using Google Analytics and Dyna trace.

In the same year, Gowtham joined Virtue Group as a Cloud Developer, involved in developing a microservices-based full stack application for an Electronic Health Record (EHR) predictive machine learning solution. Gowtham used technologies like Springboot, Hibernate, Netflix Eureka, and Netflix Zuul.

Following the merger of Virtue Group with Infolob Solutions in 2019, Gowtham continued as a Cloud Developer. Gowtham designed the services architecture for the product Insider Threat Prediction, which utilized ML models to predict insider threats in companies.

From 2020 to 2021, Gowtham worked as a DevOps Engineer at Saviynt. Gowtham then moved on to the role of Senior DevOps Engineer from 2021 to 2022 before becoming a Technical Lead in 2022.

Gowtham Potluri holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Georgia State University, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Engineering from KL University. In addition to their formal education, Gowtham has obtained several certifications. In October 2019, they acquired certifications in "App Deployment, Debugging, and Performance," "Developing Applications with Google Cloud Platform," "Getting Started With Application Development," "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure," and "Securing and Integrating Components of your Application," all from Coursera. Furthermore, in July 2020, they obtained the "Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2020 Certified Associate" certification from Oracle.
