Gowtham Potluri's work experience begins in 2016 as a Programmer Analyst for Cognizant, where they developed an email approval application using Spring Boot. Gowtham also created page layouts using JSP, Javascript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.

Gowtham Potluri holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Georgia State University, which they obtained from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Engineering from KL University. In addition to their formal education, Gowtham has obtained several certifications. In October 2019, they acquired certifications in "App Deployment, Debugging, and Performance," "Developing Applications with Google Cloud Platform," "Getting Started With Application Development," "Google Cloud Platform Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure," and "Securing and Integrating Components of your Application," all from Coursera. Furthermore, in July 2020, they obtained the "Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations 2020 Certified Associate" certification from Oracle.
