Hank Carr

Hank Carr has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Hank most recently worked at Saviynt as a Senior Solution Engineer. Before that, in 2020, they were the Operations Manager at Fork and Cleaver Farm, where they supported their wife's gardening projects and worked on welding projects.

From 2016 to 2020, Hank worked at Core Security, first as a Senior Sales Engineer, Subject Matter Expert, and then at Damballa, Inc. as a Regional Sales Engineer, North America. During this time, they provided sales engineering services to customers and partners in both companies.

From 2011 to 2015, Hank worked at Empowered Networks, where they held various roles including Director, Security Solutions, and Senior Security Solution Specialist. Hank'sresponsibilities included building and promoting the Security Practice, educating and supporting internal resources, selecting and promoting products, and providing solutions to clients' security needs.

Before that, Hank worked for the Government of Canada, starting in 2002. Hank held several roles including Business Process Analyst, Senior IT Security Project Officer/Analyst, Chief Network Facilities/Chief Network Security, A/Manager Network Services, and Chief Network Facilities. In these positions, they were responsible for operationalizing systems and services, providing risk management advice, overseeing network facilities, and contributing to network security.

In 1999, Hank worked at Veritaaq as a Deployment Specialist and Network Client Support Specialist. Hank was responsible for migration projects and providing network client support in highly secured environments.

Hank's earlier experience includes working as an Installation Specialist at Amdahl DMR in 1997 and as a Director/Lingo Developer at DNA.CA Inc in 1997. In these roles, they worked on installation projects for financial institutions and led development projects for various clients.

Overall, Hank has a strong background in sales engineering, security solutions, and network management, with significant experience in large enterprise environments and government organizations.

Hank Carr attended Thousand Islands Secondary School from 1979 to 1985. After completing high school, they went on to Carleton University in 1987, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree for one year. In 1988, they enrolled at Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology, specializing in Computing Science Technologist, and completed their studies in 1989. Hank Carr also obtained several certifications throughout their career, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)2 in April 2018, GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) from GIAC in March 2014, and Core Impact Certified Professional (CICP) from Core Security Inc. in May 2012.
