Phyllis Shumpert-Davis

Phyllis Shumpert-Davis has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Phyllis is currently the Director of Customer Success at Saviynt, a position they started in November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Customer Success Manager at the same company starting in March 2021.

Before joining Saviynt, Phyllis worked at Johnson Controls as a Program Manager from January 2019 to March 2021. In this role, they led a corporate-wide Agile Transformation Initiative, implementing Lean Agile principles and guidelines to increase speed, agility, and innovation. Phyllis also trained hundreds of employees on using the Scaled Agile Framework.

From January 2016 to October 2018, Phyllis served as a Program Manager at Abbott, managing multiple concurrent projects and leading cross-functional teams. Phyllis was responsible for project planning, budgeting, and communication, while adhering to project management, agile, and lean methodologies.

Prior to Abbott, Phyllis held various roles at Abbott Laboratories from June 2009 to January 2016. Phyllis worked as a Manager Infrastructure Technology, overseeing the planning and implementation of IT projects. Phyllis also served as a Senior IT Technical Project Manager, developing lean agile project managers and scaling the Agile Lean transformation team globally.

Earlier in their career, Phyllis worked at Northwestern Mutual Life as a Project Manager from August 2006 to May 2009, where they reviewed enhancement requests and ensured process compliance for the Service Management System.

Before joining Northwestern Mutual Life, Phyllis was the CEO of MSTA, Inc from May 2000 to May 2006, where they devised an effective method to optimize disconnected customers and convert them into paying cable subscribers, resulting in a significant increase in revenue.

Phyllis also worked as the CEO of Micro-systems Software Training Associates (MSTA, Inc) from May 1993 to May 2000, where they were recognized as the Best Training Organization in Southeastern WI. Phyllis conducted training for over 80,000 corporate employees in software development and training.

Phyllis Shumpert-Davis attended Jackson State University from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Scrum Fundamentals Certified and Scrum Master Certified credentials in October 2018 from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. Phyllis also holds a SAFe Agilist Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. It is unclear if they have obtained a Certified Project Manager certification, as no institution or year of completion is provided.
