Mika Toropainen

Mika Toropainen has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Mika began their career in 1994 at Mercedes-Benz Technology, where they authored a final work. Mika then joined Nokia Siemens Networks in 1994 and held various roles including Testing Engineer, Senior Verification Engineer, Project Manager, Team Leader, System Verification Manager, Quality Manager, and Interoperability Manager. Mika played a crucial role in improving quality, implementing projects, and managing teams.

In 2007, Mika moved to Tieto as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing various projects until 2010. Mika then joined Control Express Finland Oy in 2010, serving as a Project Manager, R&D Manager, and later as a Production Manager for Mechanics. Mika's responsibilities included managing production, leading R&D efforts, and ensuring efficient operations.

From 2017 to 2021, Mika worked at Savox Communications Ltd. Mika held the positions of Senior Director of R&D, Site Manager, and currently serves as a Program Manager for Strategic Sales. In their current role, Mika is responsible for overseeing international projects, securing funding, and delivering final reports. Mika is currently involved in a project focused on developing semiconductor technology in the EU region.

Throughout their career, Mika has demonstrated strong leadership skills, implemented LEAN methods, and driven continuous development.

Mika Toropainen attended the Walter Ahlström Institute of Technology from 1990 to 1994, where they earned an Engineer's degree in Automation Engineer Technology/Technician.
