Berkan Karakurt

Berkan Karakurt currently serves as the Head of Media Relations at SSB - Savunma Sanayii Başkanlığı since January 2024. Previously, Karakurt held various positions at Aselsan, including Executive Advisor and Head of Corporate Communications, starting in June 2020. From January 2017 to June 2020, Karakurt was the Corporate Communications Manager at VakıfBank, and prior to that, served in the same capacity at Tadım from March 2017 to February 2018, and at Enerjisa from March 2012 to March 2017. Early career experience includes marketing communications roles at Sisecam and TT Communications. Karakurt holds a Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from Istanbul Bilgi University and completed a Strategic Marketing Programme at Boğaziçi University.
