Andrew Byrns

Andrew Byrns has extensive work experience in the field of education and mathematics. Andrew currently holds the position of Director of Product Management for High School Math at Savvas Learning Company, where they have been working since 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Pearson as a National K-12 Mathematics Specialist and also served as the Lead K-12 Mathematics Curriculum Specialist and K-12 Mathematics Sales Specialist. Before joining Pearson, Andrew worked at Dallas Independent School District as a Mathematics Professional Development Supervisor at the district level and also as a Mathematics Teacher. Andrew has also worked as an Item Writer at Think Through Learning Inc. and as an Asset Protection/Safety Analyst and Accounts Research Specialist at Wal Mart Corporation.

Andrew Byrns attended the University of Arkansas from 2000 to 2005 and earned a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, French, and Journalism. Andrew then pursued a Master's degree in Mathematics at The University of Texas at Arlington, although the specific dates of their enrollment are unknown. In addition to their degrees, Andrew obtained certifications from the Texas Education Agency, including Teacher of English Language Arts and Reading Grades 4-8 in June 2009, and Teacher of Mathematics Grades 8-12 in August 2007.
