Troy Wayland has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Troy worked at Savvas Learning Co (formerly Pearson K12 Learning) from 2018, starting as a Customer Care representative and later moving on to become a Technical Support Level 2 and finally a Tech Support Team Lead. In 2009, Troy Wayland enrolled in Yavapai College and pursued an Associate of Arts degree. Troy completed their studies in 2011.

During the same period, in 2011, Troy also attended the Arizona School of Integrative Studies (ASIS) where they obtained a Massage Therapy & Chiropractic Therapy Certificate, specializing in Health and Wellness.

In 2013, Troy briefly attended Estrella Mountain Community College, focusing on General Studies.

In terms of additional certifications, Troy obtained a Massage Therapy 800 hours certificate from ASIS in July 2011. Troy also earned a Licensed Massage Therapist designation from the Arizona State Board of Massage Therapy in April 2013.

More recently, in May 2022, Troy enrolled in a Google Project Management Certification program at a Work In Progress institution.
