Yoav Horman

Yoav Horman has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Yoav is currently the Co-Founder & CTO at Savvy, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Co-Founder & CEO at Savvy from August 2021 to April 2023.

Before their time at Savvy, Yoav worked at Fireglass, which was acquired by Symantec. Yoav held the role of VP R&D from August 2014 to August 2021.

Prior to Fireglass, Yoav worked at Check Point, where they held various leadership positions. Yoav was the Director of SMB and Threat Prevention Products from February 2012 to July 2014. Before that, they served as the Firewall-1 Group Manager from June 2007 to February 2012. Yoav also held the position of Group Manager, Platforms and Infrastructure from December 2005 to June 2007. Yoav started their career at Check Point as a Team Leader in Kernel Infrastructure from January 2004 to December 2005 and was a Software Developer in the same team from June 2002 to January 2004.

Starting their career in the year 2000, Yoav worked at Extent as a Software Developer in the Infrastructure team from July 2000 to May 2002.

Yoav Horman pursued their education at Bar-Ilan University, starting in 1998. Yoav completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science in 2001. Afterward, Yoav continued their studies at the same university and enrolled as a PhD student from 2001 to 2005. Their research focus during this time was on data mining.
