Andrew Shepardson's work experience starts with their current role as a Product Development Engineer at SawStop, which they began in February 2023. Before that, they worked at Oregon Tool as a Measurement Engineer from April 2021 to December 2022, where they were responsible for equipment development and testing projects. Prior to that, they were a Mechanical Engineer at Milwaukee Electronics for 10 years, leading projects for Hewlett Packard and creating automated test fixtures. Andrew also worked briefly at Test Equipment Distributors, LLC as an Engineer, performing design and drafting work for X-Ray chamber retrofit installations. In addition, they were a member of the Validation, Observation and Learning Team at Oregon Tool and served as the Formula SAE Engine Team Captain at Oregon State University. Early in their career, they had various roles including working as an Entry Level Employee at Drake's Seven Dees, a Machinist Assistant at KO Racing, a Hardware Technician at Northwest Computer Accessories, and a Driver Helper at UPS.
Andrew Shepardson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University, where they studied from 2006 to 2010.
