Tim Wescott is a seasoned engineer with extensive experience in electrical and software engineering across various companies. Currently serving as the Manager of Digital Signal Processing at SawStop since August 2023, Tim previously held senior engineering roles at PreAct Technologies and Planar Systems. Tim also owned Wescott Design Systems, specializing in control and communications systems, and worked as a software engineer at FLIR Systems, where contributions included designing embedded software for thermal imaging equipment and serving as a systems engineer. Tim's engineering career began at CID, Inc., and Wygant Scientific, focusing on circuit design and hardware development. Educational qualifications include a Master's and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
