Stephan Platt, CISSP, has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology and Cyber Security. Stephan is currently serving as the Vice President of Information Technology & Cyber Security at SAWTST, LLC since April 2019. Previously, they worked as a Threat Intelligence & Endpoint Security Engineer at Cox Enterprises from April 2018 to April 2019.
Before that, Stephan was employed at Alert Logic as a Security Operations Center Supervisor from November 2017 to April 2018. Stephan also worked for Eads, where they held the position of Senior Systems Security Team Lead from September 2013 to March 2017.
Stephan's earlier roles include serving as a Sr. Information Security Engineer at Apache I.T. Solutions, L.L.C. from July 2011 to September 2013. Prior to that, they were the IT Director at Sheltering Arms Senior Services, where they were responsible for evaluating infrastructure, creating solutions, and driving compliance and efficiency efforts from November 2007 to July 2011.
Stephan's experience also includes working as an IT Manager at GHX Industrial, LLC from 2005 to 2007, and as a Network Analyst at Fort Bend County from 2003 to 2005. Stephan served as the IT Director at Settlement Facility - Dow Corning Trust from 2001 to 2003, where they played a key role in building IT infrastructure and creating policies. Stephan started their career at JPMorgan Chase as a Senior Network Administrator from 1999 to 2001.
Stephan Platt, CISSP, obtained their Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Baker College Center for Graduate Studies, where they studied from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Baker College of Flint, where they attended from 2004 to 2007.
In addition to their degrees, Stephan has also obtained several certifications. Stephan became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) in March 2013 from (ISC)² and earned the CISSP certification from the same institution during the same period. Prior to that, they obtained the MCSE1: Windows NT 4.0 certification from Microsoft in January 1999.
