Vani Mehta

Vani Mehta has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Vani began their career in 2009 at Silitronics as a Project Coordinator, where they collaborated and communicated with Operations Managers to procure required materials and used Excel to monitor and manage procurement for all contractors and suppliers for each project. Vani also held roles as an Account Manager and Operations and Administration, and worked as a Freelance Design Consultant, converting functional requirements into AutoCAD designs for semiconductor packaging designs, designing mock-ups to demonstrate design concepts, and modifying and updating designs based on client feedback. In 2011, Vani Mehta began working as a Marketing and Media Assistant at iMusti, assisting the Marketing team by researching user activity and gathering marketing materials in addition to editing design and content errors based on personal recommendations for site improvement. Vani also collaborated with executive and design teams locally and internationally to create and implement solutions, and developed and optimized social marketing strategies, branding initiatives ad campaigns. In 2014, Vani Mehta began working as a UX Designer at General Assembly, where they worked on a 2.5-week collaborative design project creating an online subway art guide for a non-profit organization. In 2015, they began working as a UX Designer and in 2016 they began working as a Product Design Lead at Sawyer, where they also held roles as a Senior Product Designer and Product Designer.

Vani Mehta completed their Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics and a Minor in Management from UC Irvine in 2008. In 2014, they completed a User Experience Design course from General Assembly.
