Mallory Donen has a diverse work experience. Mallory started their career as a Resident Assistant at the University of the Fraser Valley, where they were responsible for running residence programs and attending to students' needs. Mallory then worked as a Summer Staff member at Volleyball BC, assisting in organizing and managing beach volleyball tournaments. Mallory also gained experience in photography, working as an Assistant Photographer/Salesperson at Action Pro Photo and later as a Head Photographer at Mallory Donen Photography.
In 2015, Mallory took on the role of a Teaching Assistant at the University of Manitoba, where they taught visual arts courses and provided feedback to students. Mallory also had a short-term contract as a photographer at See Inside 360 Virtual Tours. Mallory continued their art-related work by becoming an Artist Mentor at Semiahmoo Arts Society, where they guided high school art students in mural art projects.
In terms of customer service roles, Mallory worked at No Limits Group as a Customer Service representative, handling customer inquiries and providing support for various apparel brands. Mallory later joined SAXX as a Customer Service Agent, where they communicated with customers regarding returns, exchanges, and order tracking.
In their most recent position at SAXX, Mallory served as a Sales Support Agent, managing orders and corresponding with retailers across North America. Mallory then transitioned into the role of a Key Account Specialist, responsible for building strong relationships with retail partners and implementing vendor agreements.
Outside of their professional experiences, Mallory is a multidisciplinary artist, exploring the intersection of digital art and embroidery. Mallory holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of the Fraser Valley and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba.
Mallory Donen pursued their education from 2005 to 2010 at Semiahmoo Secondary School, where they completed their high school education. After that, they attended the University of the Fraser Valley from 2010 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) with a major in Visual Arts. Following their undergraduate studies, Mallory went on to attend the University of Manitoba from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Fine and Studio Arts.
