Shachar Gidron

Shachar Gidron has extensive work experience in various roles, primarily in the technology industry. They started their career as a Software Engineer at the Government of Israel in 2003 and later became a Software Team Leader, Senior Product Manager, and Head of R&D Group. In 2015, they joined Via - On-Demand Transit, where they held multiple positions, including Senior Software Engineer, Software Dev Team Lead, Engineering Director for Routing & Algorithm, and Head of BizDev-Engineering. During their time at Via, they played a significant role in developing and maintaining routing technology and founded the sales engineering department. In 2021, Shachar joined Model9 as the VP of R&D, and in 2022, they continued their role as VP of R&D at Sayata.

Shachar Gidron earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from The Open University of Israel, where they studied from 2000 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science at Reichman University between 2010 and 2013. Additionally, they obtained certification as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in February 2008.
