Jen Ryley Welsh is an experienced educator and administrator currently serving as the Director of Alumni Engagement at Mitchell College, where responsibilities include overseeing strategic student engagement and retention initiatives for first-year students. After joining Mitchell College in 2009, roles have included Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Director of First-Year Experience, as well as serving as an Adjunct Instructor. In addition, Jen is the creator and owner of Earth Friends Discovery LLC, focusing on yoga programs for children, and a yoga instructor at Saybrook Point Inn and Spa. Previous positions include community service program coordination at Waterford Public Schools, support for the Coastal Studies Program at the University of Connecticut-Avery Point Campus, and work as a Senior Admissions Officer at the University of Connecticut. Currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Studies at Lesley University, Jen holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Boston College and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Connecticut.
